XP - XTREM HUNTER - Deep-Seeking Coil Bundle:

Designed specifically for locating large, deeply buried metal objects, the XTREM HUNTER transforms a compatible DEUS II Remote into XP's advanced two-box deep-seeking detection system.

Unlike a conventional metal detector designed primarily for coins, jewelry, and other relatively small targets, the XTREM HUNTER is engineered for detecting large objects at substantial depths. It is ideal for searching for large relics, buried caches, tanks, pipes, and other significant underground metal targets.

IMPORTANT: The XTR-115E requires an XP DEUS II Remote Control to operate. The DEUS II Remote Control is NOT included with this package.

Extreme Depth for Large Targets

The XTREM HUNTER uses XP's Fast Multi Frequency (FMF®) technology to provide exceptional stability while minimizing the effects of mineralized ground.

XP states that the system is capable of detecting appropriate large targets at depths of up to 5 meters (approximately 16 feet) under suitable conditions.

Actual detection depth will vary considerably depending on the size, orientation and composition of the target as well as soil conditions, mineralization, interference, and detector settings.

Advanced Two-Box Detection

The XTREM HUNTER utilizes separate transmitting and receiving coils to create a specialized deep-seeking system.

Unlike a traditional detector that is swept from side to side, the XTREM HUNTER is carried while walking across the search area.

Its design naturally reduces sensitivity to very small objects such as nails while maintaining sensitivity to the larger, deeper targets the system was designed to locate.

FMF® Multi-Frequency Technology

Traditional two-box detectors have commonly relied on a single operating frequency.

XP brings its simultaneous Fast Multi Frequency technology to the XTREM HUNTER, providing improved stability across varying ground conditions while helping minimize unwanted ground response.

The system also provides ground balancing in automatic or manual modes to help adapt the detector to changing soil conditions.

Iron Discrimination

The XTREM HUNTER provides IAR iron rejection with five adjustment levels and is capable of discriminating certain moderate-sized ferrous targets.

Because this is a specialized deep-seeking system designed primarily for large targets, its discrimination capabilities should not be confused with the detailed target identification available from a conventional DEUS II search coil.

Designed for One-Person Operation

Despite its two-box configuration, the XTREM HUNTER is designed to be operated by a single person.

The assembled XTREM HUNTER with DEUS II Remote weighs approximately 6.4 lb (2.9 kg) and measures approximately 3.94 ft (1.20 m) when assembled.

The adjustable handle and support allow the system to be balanced for comfortable operation during extended searches.

Wireless DEUS II Integration

The XTREM HUNTER integrates directly into the XP DEUS II wireless ecosystem.

Once paired as a coil, the DEUS II Remote automatically provides the dedicated XTREM HUNTER interface and settings.

Available controls include Sensitivity, Reactivity, Adjustable Autotune, Audio Threshold, IAR Iron Rejection, Audio Response, Frequency Scan, and Ground Balance.

The system is also compatible with XP wireless headphone options including the WS6, WSA II, and WSA II XL.

Weatherproof Construction

The XTREM HUNTER is designed for demanding field conditions and features weather-resistant construction suitable for operation in rain and adverse conditions.

The included XP transport case is designed to provide protection from both rain and impacts during transportation and storage.

Battery & Charging

The XTREM HUNTER uses a rechargeable Li-ion 18650 battery and provides more than 10 hours of operating time under normal conditions.

Charging time is approximately 4 hours using USB-C.

The XP XTREM HUNTER is designed for applications where a conventional detector may not provide sufficient depth on very large targets.

Compatibility Notice

The XTR-115E is not a complete standalone metal detector.

A compatible XP DEUS II Remote Control is required for operation and is sold separately.

If you already own a DEUS II with the Remote Control, the XTR-115E allows you to add specialized two-box deep-seeking capability to your existing DEUS II platform without purchasing another complete detector.
