The XTR-115RCWSA2XLEA is a complete XTREM HUNTER package and includes the DEUS II Remote Control and WSA II-XL wireless headphones, giving you everything needed to operate the XTREM HUNTER system.

Using XP's advanced Fast Multi Frequency (FMF®) technology, the XTREM HUNTER brings modern wireless technology, ground handling, and ferrous discrimination capabilities to the traditional two-box detector platform.

Built for Large, Deep Targets

The XTREM HUNTER isn't designed to replace a conventional coin, jewelry, or relic detector.

It's built for situations where the target is large and deep.

XP designed the system for locating targets such as large relics, buried caches, tanks, pipes, and other substantial underground metal objects that may be beyond the practical detection range of a conventional search coil.

XP rates the XTREM HUNTER for detection depths of up to 5 meters / approximately 16 feet on suitable large targets under appropriate conditions.

Actual detection depth will depend heavily on target size, composition, orientation, soil conditions, mineralization, interference, and detector settings.

FMF® Multi-Frequency Technology

The XTREM HUNTER uses XP's simultaneous Fast Multi Frequency technology to provide stable deep-target detection while reducing the effects of difficult ground.

This technology allows XP to bring capabilities normally associated with the DEUS II platform into a specialized two-box deep-seeking system.

Designed to Ignore Small Surface Targets

One of the major advantages of a two-box detector is its reduced sensitivity to small, shallow objects.

The XTREM HUNTER is highly insensitive to small surface targets, allowing it to search through upper layers of ground while concentrating on larger metal masses below.

This makes it particularly useful in applications where small nails, fragments, and other shallow objects would create excessive responses with a conventional metal detector.

Ferrous Target Discrimination

Unlike many traditional deep-seeking systems, the XTREM HUNTER provides the ability to identify and reject certain moderate-sized ferrous targets.

XP's IAR iron rejection system provides five adjustment levels, helping the operator make better decisions when investigating deep targets.

Because the XTREM HUNTER is designed specifically for large and deep targets, its discrimination capabilities should not be confused with the detailed target identification provided by a conventional DEUS II search coil.

Operated by One Person

Despite its two-box configuration, the XTREM HUNTER is designed for single-person operation.

The complete XTREM HUNTER with DEUS II Remote weighs approximately 6.4 lb / 2.9 kg, while the adjustable handle and support system allow the detector to be balanced for comfortable field operation.

The assembled system measures approximately 3.94 ft / 1.20 m in length.

DEUS II Remote Control Included

Unlike the XTR-115E accessory package, the XTR-115RCWSA2XLEA includes the XP DEUS II Remote Control.

Once paired with the XTREM HUNTER, the DEUS II Remote provides a dedicated XTREM HUNTER interface with access to settings including sensitivity, reactivity, adjustable autotune, audio threshold, IAR iron rejection, audio response, frequency scan, and ground balance.

The DEUS II Remote also gives you the ability to expand the system later with compatible standard DEUS II search coils, sold separately.

WSA II-XL Wireless Headphones Included

This package also includes XP's WSA II-XL wireless headphones.

The full-size headphones provide comfortable wireless audio and use XP's proprietary low-latency wireless system for fast detector response.

Their enclosed design is particularly useful when detecting in windy, noisy, or otherwise challenging environments.

Built for Demanding Conditions

The XTREM HUNTER is designed for serious field use and features weather-resistant construction for operation in rain and adverse conditions.

A dedicated XP XTR-CASE115 protective carrying case is included for transportation and storage.

The case is designed to protect the XTREM HUNTER from rain and impacts while making the complete system easier to transport.

For conventional searches involving coins, jewelry, small relics, or small gold, a standard DEUS II search coil is the more appropriate tool.
