The removable WS6 ST module can be used with the headphones, removed and mounted on the detector stem, or used as the primary controller in an ultra-lightweight detector configuration.

More Than Wireless Headphones

Unlike conventional wireless headphones that simply receive target audio, the WS6 ST contains its own control interface and display.

When paired with a compatible XP search coil, the WS6 ST can operate without the full DEUS II Remote Control.

This allows the WS6 ST to serve two completely different purposes:

• Wireless stereo headphones when used with the DEUS II Remote Control

• A standalone detector controller when used in WS6 ST Master mode

This modular design allows you to configure your XP detector around the type of hunting you're doing.

Three Ways to Use the WS6 ST

XP designed the WS6 ST around three primary configurations.

1. WS6 ST + DEUS II Remote Control

When used with the full DEUS II Remote Control, the Remote acts as the master controller.

The Remote controls the search coil, detector programs, and settings while the WS6 ST functions as your wireless stereo headphones.

This configuration gives you the full DEUS II Remote interface combined with XP's advanced stereo audio.

2. WS6 ST Master + Additional Headphones

The WS6 ST can become the master detector controller, communicating directly with the search coil without requiring the DEUS II Remote Control.

The WS6 ST module can be removed from the headphone frame and carried or mounted where its display and controls are easy to access.

Compatible XP wireless headphones can then provide your audio.

This creates an extremely lightweight detector while retaining access to Target ID and detector settings.

3. WS6 ST Master – Ultra-Light Configuration

For the simplest and lightest configuration, the WS6 ST module remains attached directly to its backphone frame.

The WS6 ST communicates directly with the search coil and provides both your detector controls and target audio.

No DEUS II Remote Control is required.

This creates one of the lightest possible configurations of the DEUS II platform.
