Fully Waterproof to 66 Feet

The DEUS II isn't limited to dry-land detecting.

Both the DEUS II Remote Control and 13" x 11" FMF search coil are waterproof to 66 ft (20 m), allowing the detector to be configured for freshwater, saltwater, surf, and underwater treasure hunting.

Because normal wireless radio signals cannot effectively travel through water, XP's underwater antenna system is used to maintain communication between the submerged search coil and Remote Control.

During normal land detecting, the search coil, Remote Control, and WS6 ST communicate wirelessly.

There is no traditional coil cable running from the search coil to the control box.
