Nokta - LD28 - 11" Waterproof DD Search Coil for The Legend 2:

The Nokta LD28 11" Waterproof DD Search Coil is the standard full-size search coil for The Legend 2, offering an excellent balance of ground coverage, maneuverability, and all-around detecting performance.

Whether you need to replace a damaged or lost factory coil or simply want a spare on hand, the LD28 provides the genuine Nokta 11" coil configuration originally supplied with The Legend 2.

Nokta Part Number: 17000565

Versatile 11" Design

Measuring 11 inches (28 cm) in diameter, the LD28 is designed as a versatile general-purpose search coil.

Its larger search area allows you to cover ground efficiently while maintaining a manageable size for everyday detecting.

The LD28 is well suited for a wide variety of detecting environments, making it a strong choice for coin, jewelry, relic, beach, field, and general-purpose searching.

Excellent Ground Coverage

The 11" size provides greater ground coverage per sweep than The Legend 2's smaller LD21 and LD22 coils.

This makes the LD28 particularly useful when searching larger areas where efficiently covering ground is a priority.

For extremely target-dense locations or areas with significant obstacles, a smaller coil may offer advantages in maneuverability and target separation.

Waterproof DD Construction

The LD28 features a waterproof Double-D (DD) design engineered specifically for The Legend 2.

Its waterproof construction allows the coil to take advantage of The Legend 2's all-terrain capabilities, whether you're detecting dry ground, wet conditions, beaches, shorelines, or underwater within the operating limits of the detector.

Factory Coil for The Legend 2

The LD28 is one of the two search coils supplied with The Legend 2, alongside the compact LD21 8" x 5.5" DD coil.

This individually sold LD28 is therefore an ideal replacement for a damaged or lost original LD28 or as a spare factory-size coil for Legend 2 owners.

Compatibility Notice

The LD28 is designed for The Legend 2.

The original Nokta Legend and The Legend 2 use different search coil families. The original Legend uses LG-series coils, while The Legend 2 uses LD-series coils.

The LD28 should not be confused with the LG28 used with the original Legend.

If you're looking for a genuine replacement for the standard 11" search coil supplied with your Nokta The Legend 2, the LD28 provides the factory-size waterproof DD coil along with the coil cover and mounting hardware.
